Service Description
Build your confidence, technique, and endurance on the water with our structured 4‑session Stand Up Paddleboard Distance Progression Course, based at Preston Park on the River Tees. This course is designed for people who have paddled before and want to build on their existing skills, increase their distance, and progress beyond shorter sessions. If you’ve already tried paddleboarding and want to take the next step, this is the ideal way to do it. Across four 2‑hour sessions, you’ll learn efficient paddle technique, improve your balance and control, and gradually increase your distance from 4km to 7km, working towards paddling up to 10km comfortably and safely. The final distance is tailored to the group’s ability on the day, ensuring everyone progresses at a pace that feels achievable and enjoyable. With small groups (max 6 people), personalised coaching, and a friendly, encouraging atmosphere, this course is perfect for anyone looking to push themselves, explore more of the river, and achieve something genuinely rewarding. Upcoming Sessions
Cancellation Policy
Client cancellations within 24 hours of the session time will not be refunded. Client cancellations within 48 hours to 24 hours of the session time will be 50% refunded. Client cancellations more than 48 hours from the session time will be fully refunded. If Yarm Paddle Boarding have to cancel your session due to weather, water conditions or any other reason, an alternative session will be offered.
